GCU Golf Camps

2019 Residential Camp

Grand Canyon University’s Golf Camps provide the opportunity for players to receive experienced instruction from top-tier NCAA coaches. Camps prepare each player with the proper fundamentals so they can develop skills and learn about the game of golf, while enjoying the sport and having fun.

Ages: 13 - 18, Boys & Girls
Cost:
Overnight Camper: $500
Commuter Camper: $300

Typical Day Camp Schedule
Morning: Skills sessions that provide instruction on basic swing, shots, drills, etc.

  • More detailed instruction will cater to abilities
  • Ratio will be roughly 8 students to 1 coach

Afternoon: Competition-based tournaments (par 3, glow golf and end-of-camp tournaments) and opportunities to apply the skills learned in the morning sessions

Evening: Fun activity either on campus or in the community (e.g., movie, bowling, Suns basketball game)

Cost Includes:

  • Shirt, hat, three meals per day, unlimited snacks, drinks and chance to win multiple prizes
  • Dormitory accommodations with a chaperone
  • Golf greens fees, practice balls and instruction
  • Activities that may possibly be a movie night,  bowling, Suns game, etc.
  • Opportunity to learn from coaches at the collegiate level and GCU athletes
